Several common faults of high - voltage motor

  High voltage motor refers to motor with rated voltage above 1000V. The commonly used voltage is 6000V and 10000V, and there are 3300V and 6600V voltage grades due to the different power grid in foreign countries. So, do you know some common faults of high voltage motor and their causes?

  The cooling system of the motor is out of order

  There are three main reasons:

  1. The cooling pipeline of the high-pressure motor is damaged, resulting in loss of relevant coolant inside the pipeline, which eventually leads to the high temperature rise of the high-pressure motor, resulting in failure;

  2. Other impurities were mixed into the cooling fluid in the cooling system of the high voltage motor, causing corrosion and blockage of the pipeline, which eventually led to the motor failure due to the temperature rise of the high voltage motor;

  3. There are some heat dissipation problems in the heat dissipation pipe of the high voltage motor, which eventually leads to the motor temperature rising dramatically and the fault occurs.

  The winding was broken down for some external reasons and the relevant leads were aged

  The main reasons are as follows: the insulation resistance of the high voltage motor is difficult to meet the requirements of the high voltage motor, resulting in the motor failure; The service life of the high-voltage motor is too long, causing the internal magnetic material to fall on the coil of the motor. The breakdown of the motor winding leads to the motor's final failure. After the aging and heating of the internal leads of the high-voltage motor, the internal contact of the high-voltage motor is not good, which can easily lead to the motor failure.

  The motor rotor is out of order

  Due to the internal thermal response and electromagnetic induction, the rotor is prone to problems.
