　　The materials of the motor housing generally include cast iron, cast aluminum alloy, steel (steel tube), steel plate, etc. Ordinary motors and explosion-proof motors are made of castings made of pig iron, and the lathe is used for finishing machining to match the stator core. Because of the special use environment of the explosion-proof motor, the electrical sealing treatment is better, that is, the wiring parts of the motor are burned out, and the flammable gas of the external environment will not be ignited. The ordinary motor shell has no explosion-proof isolation function, and the motor lead out line has no special sealing measures.

　　After meeting the above requirements, the explosion-proof motor casing is generally used as a common machine shell, but the requirements of the YBK2 series explosion-proof motor for the downhole are higher. Generally, the explosion-proof motor must be used as the steel shell, and the frame, the wind shield, the junction box and the insulation structure are strengthened. It is used to meet the requirements of the downhole operation environment.
