What are the protection grades of the explosion-proof motor?

  When you buy all kinds of explosion-proof motors, businesses will ask you what kind of explosion-proof motors you need. If you do not understand the user, you will ask what type, the merchant will recommend a suitable explosion-proof motor to the user according to the environment where your explosion-proof motor is located; if you know the user, you will directly report the protection level of the explosion-proof motor that you want. So it is still necessary for us to know what the protection level is.

  Then what is the protection level of explosion-proof motors? Listen to me slowly.

  The mark of the protection level is composed of the letter "IP" and the two digit number. The first digit represents the dustproof grade, and the second digit represents the waterproof grade. In our country, the highest level of dustproof is grade six, and the maximum waterproof level is grade eight. What are the dustproof and waterproof levels?

  Dustproof grade:

  0 - no protection motor; (no special protection)

  1 - protection of motors with diameters greater than 50mm; (can prevent large areas of human body from accidentally or accidentally touching. Approaching the electrified or rotating parts of the shell (but not preventing intentional contact).

  2 - protection of motors with diameters greater than 12mm; (can prevent similar objects from fingers or lengths not exceeding 80mm to touch or approach charged or rotating parts inside the shell).

  3 - protection of motors with diameters greater than 2.5mm; (can prevent tools or wires with diameters greater than 2.5mm touching or approaching electrified or rotating parts inside the shell).

  4 - protection of motors with diameters greater than 1mm; (can prevent wires or strips with diameters or thickness greater than 1mm touching or approaching electrified or rotating parts inside the housing). ) 5 - dust motor (dust). (to prevent touching or approaching the electrified or rotating parts inside the shell), although the dust can not be completely prevented from entering, it is not enough to influence the normal operation of the motor.

  6 - dust motor (completely prevent dust entry)

  Waterproof grade:

  0 - no protection motor;

  1 - anti drop motor (vertical dripping water has no harmful effect);

  2 - 15 degree dripping drier (when the power is inclined from normal to any angle within 15 degrees, vertical drip should have no harmful effect).

  3 - the anti shower motor (which should be within 60 degree angle perpendicular to the vertical line) should have no harmful effect.

  4 - splash motor (no splash in any direction).

  5 - spray water motor (bearing any water spray in any direction should have no harmful effect).

  6 - anti wave motor (under severe wave impact or strong water spraying, motor intake should not be harmful).

  7 - Immersion motor (when the motor enters the prescribed pressure of the water after a specified time, the motor intake should not be harmful).

  8 - submersible motor (long term diving under specified conditions).

  Looking at this, I believe everyone knows that when the motor is bought by a store or a manufacturer, the protection class is seen on the nameplate of the explosion-proof motor. There is a letter and number of data, such as IP54 or IP55, which represents what IP54 or IP55 is in.
